Third Grade Fundraiser Grows Up

Kate Wood caught the giving fever when she was 8 years old. She heard her mother talk about how poor the children in Zambia were and how she should be glad for what she had.
She heard how kids couldn’t go to school without a school uniform and how their parents didn’t have any money to buy them a uniform. She wanted to help.
In the third grade, her mother would make cinnamon rolls and she would take the rolls to school and sell them. This was so impactful in her life that Kate is now in college and she has started a club for Zambia and plans on raising enough money to go over to help.
Now that’s the kind of dream that changes the world!!
