A Beautiful Partnership: Zambia ↔ Utah
This connection began when Teachers Branham and Regina from Henry Kapata Primary partnered with Lori Thorp, Librarian at Valley View Elementary, through our Sibling School Program. Together, they’re building bridges between classrooms nearly 10,000 miles apart — and changing lives in the process.
And Valley View stepped up in a BIG way.
Valley View Elementary Raised $1,133.50!
Thanks to the generosity of families, students, and staff, funds were collected to support two schools in Kasama, Zambia.
Here’s where the money has gone so far:

$500 went directly to Henry Kapata Primary School
→ providing essential supplies like pens, paper, notebooks, and books — simple tools that make learning possible. -
$500+ is on its way to Kanyanta Primary School, Valley View’s newest sibling school.
The funds will continue to support school needs and strengthen the bond between these amazing communities.
