When our last team of volunteers went to Zambia they visited several high schools. They couldn’t believe it; schools were teaching home economics with a hand drawn picture of sewing machine, they were teaching wood shop with a hand drawn picture as well. There was not a single hammer or a single nail.  Our goal for 2013 is to help one high school and one trade skills school with the following items: 13 treadle sewing machines for each school making a total of 26 sewing machines. 13 sets of handsaws, hammers, nails, vice grips, screw drivers, and other basic wood working equipment, for each school making a total of 26 sets.
